Terms of Service / Service Terms – Northern ADAS Ltd

A legal disclaimer

Last updated: 15 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to services provided by Northern ADAS Ltd, registered office Cropper Farm, Whitehill Road, FY4 5LA (“we”, “us”, “our”) to the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
We provide mobile services including (as applicable): ADAS calibration, diagnostic scanning, fault finding support, coding/programming, key programming (where supported), and related documentation.
2. Bookings and access
2.1 Bookings can be made via our website form, email, or phone.
2.2 You are responsible for ensuring we have access to the vehicle and the working area at the agreed time.
2.3 If the vehicle is not available, is not in a workable condition, or access is not provided, we may charge a call-out fee (see Section 6).
3. Site requirements (mobile calibration)
To carry out ADAS calibration safely and correctly, you agree to provide suitable conditions. Requirements vary by vehicle/system, but typically include:

  • Indoor space where required by procedure, with adequate lighting

  • Level ground and sufficient clear space around the vehicle

  • Ability to control the environment (e.g., avoid disruption in the calibration area)

  • The vehicle in a condition suitable for calibration (e.g., correct tyre pressures, correct ride height where applicable, and no unresolved issues affecting alignment or sensor mounting)

If site conditions are unsuitable, we may pause, reschedule, or decline the calibration. Charges may still apply for time/travel already incurred.
4. Vehicle condition and prerequisites
You confirm that repairs affecting ADAS (e.g., bumper/windscreen/sensor mounting, structural work) have been completed to a standard suitable for calibration and that any prerequisites required by the OEM procedure (including wheel alignment where required) have been completed or will be completed before our attendance.
If we identify issues preventing calibration or affecting results, we will inform you. We are not responsible for underlying repair defects, pre-existing vehicle issues, or work carried out by third parties.
5. Reports and documentation
Where applicable, we provide documentation such as scan results and calibration status/reporting for your job file.
6. Pricing, deposits, payment, cancellations, and call-out fees
6.1 Pricing will be confirmed at booking. Unless stated otherwise, prices are inclusive of VAT.
Deposit (required to secure booking)
6.2 A £150 deposit (inc VAT) is payable on booking to secure the appointment. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received (unless agreed otherwise in writing). The deposit is deducted from the final invoice.
Payment on completion
6.3 The remaining balance is due on completion of the job, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Invoices are issued via Xero and payments are typically made by bank transfer (via Tide) or another method we confirm in writing.
Cancellations and rescheduling (24-hour window)
6.4 If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the £150 deposit (inc VAT) may be retained to cover reserved time and scheduling costs. If you reschedule, a £35 rescheduling fee (inc VAT) applies.
24-hour turnaround bookings (priority slots)
6.5 Where you book a job on a 24-hour turnaround basis (or any expedited/priority slot we confirm as such), the £150 deposit (inc VAT) is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed, due to the short-notice scheduling commitment.
Call-out fee
6.6 If we attend site and cannot complete the work due to factors outside our control (including but not limited to: no access, vehicle not present, unsuitable working conditions, missing prerequisites, or safety concerns), a £150 call-out fee (inc VAT) may apply. Where a call-out fee applies, any deposit already paid will be credited against the call-out fee.
7. Warranties and limitations
7.1 We will perform services with reasonable care and skill.
7.2 ADAS calibration outcomes can be affected by factors outside our control (e.g., vehicle damage, incorrect repairs, unsuitable environment, alignment issues, aftermarket parts, or incomplete prerequisites).
8. Liability
8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
8.2 Subject to the above, and to the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8.3 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., loss of profit, loss of business, downtime), to the extent permitted by law.
9. Data protection
We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Job documentation may be retained for 5 years for quality, compliance, and dispute-handling purposes.
10. Photos and evidence
Where needed for documentation and quality control, we may take photos (e.g., setup, scan screenshots). We will not publish identifiable vehicle/customer details without permission.
11. Complaints
If you have a complaint, please contact info@northernadas.co.uk with details of the job/date and we will work to resolve it promptly.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
